Serve our City // February 2025

Our February outreach focus is Simple Acts of Kindness. This month we invite you to simply participate in showing kindness to your community.

Examples might include:
• Buy coffee for the next person in line
• Buy a co-worker lunch (or for someone in the restaurant)
• Mail a note of encouragement or valentine to a friend
• Shovel a neighbor's driveway

One of the simplest, and often overlooked, acts of kindness we can do is invite someone to church. So while you shovel snow, or buy someones coffee, our prayer is that it would open doors for you to invite people to church.

In addition to church, Refinery has intentionally designed a variety of upcoming events that are perfect for someone new. This includes:

• Men's Softball
• Refinery Women's Ministry: Coffee and Canvas
• Women's Spring Small Groups
• Basketball Open Gym (February)

Our hope and prayer this February is for each person to invest in the lives of people and invite them into the story of grace. We believe simply acts of kindness is one way we can begin to do that.
