At The Refinery, we invite everyone to consider our 5 commitments as keys to help establish a rhythm of life centered in Christ. We desire for people to be whole in their pursuit of living a life with God. Therefore, we encourage engagement and growth in all 5 commitments, and trust the Spirit to shape how that is lived out in each person's life.
Reflecting on one's health is a common practice in numerous areas of our lives, and the health of our walk with Jesus deserves consideration as well. This Spiritual Health Reflection is specifically designed to that end. In each of the five sections, a commitment is defined and anchored with scripture. Readers are then guided through a list of questions to consider, thoughts to ponder, and categories to help examine one's pursuit of loving God, loving people, and helping people love God. The goal is to provide a general overall assessment of a person's individual spiritual health: identifying healthy patterns to sustain and potential problem areas that need change. We invite you to use this guide as a help in growing in faith.
This reflection will take some time. We encourage you to not only plan time for it into your routine but grab a notebook or journal to keep track of your work.
